This spring, I will be graduating as salutatorian from Kennett High School in Conway New Hampshire. I take pride in my academics, as I strive to get the most out of my education.

Over the past four years, I have taken several interesting classes, including Writing, Graphic Arts, Biology, World History, Psychology and an independent study focused on Environmental Politics.

Not only am I a student, but I am also a member of many clubs. As a member of Link Crew, I assist incoming freshman in adapting to the demands of high school. I organize high school events with my peers as the secretary of my class in Student Council. I was awarded membership in the National Honor Society by maintaining a 90% average throughout high school and for being an involved student in extra-curricular activities. I am a member of the Spanish Honor Society by completing three levels of high school Spanish, upholding a 90% average, and for being an active participant in class.

I have achieved the recognition of high honor roll throughout high school. I have also received a gold key for my photography portfolio and a silver key for my graphic art portfolio in the New Hampshire Scholastic 2007 Art Competition. I was recognized for my third place finish for the Graphic Arts 2007 Skills USA Competition. I also received the New Hampshire High School Female Athletic and Academic Award for participating in two varsity level sports and keeping a 90% average during my four years at Kennett High School.

My education at Kennett High School has provided a strong base of knowledge and instilled confidence that will help me to transition into my first semester at Ithaca College in the fall.
